Child Custody Calendar
User can use this child custody calendar to build a child custody between you and the other parent. Enter the mother’s proposed days with the child, and then add the father’s proposed days. You can make and print as many schedules variations as you like.
Judges prefer standard schedules like 4 days one week and 3 days another, or 5 days one week, and 2 days another. Another popular schedule is week on and week off. Parents can come to agreement on almost any custody schedules they like as long as the schedule meets the goal of meeting the child’s best interest.
With that “ultimate” goal in mind there are a few legal rules to take note. First, having primary physical custody , which is 61% of the time, does change the child support calculations compared to sharing joint physical custody. For more details on the differences of primary physical custody and joint physical custody review our child custody page, and our child support calculator.
