Needs Based Spousal Support Calculator

Spousal Support can be based on monthly need and ability to pay. In the Kogod v. Cioffi-Kogod case, our court stated one way to calculate monthly spousal support is to see how much a spouse needs. This can be balanced by what the other spouse can afford to pay. Complete the calculator below with projected monthly expenses after the divorce is final. Then add projected monthly income. The calculator will show a few different alimony amounts the judge may order.
